WHO-ICF
The WHO-ICF graphically represents that complexities of health conditions and the associated limitations in activities and participation, and its interplay with contextual factors and impairments. It is vital to understand the WHO-ICF model to create an effective and meaningful exercise program; it allows an approach to identify the specific impairments hindering the performance of activities of the individual, while concomitantly clarifying contextual factors that further impede performance, disability or quality of life.
